We Have Many. They Have None.
You and I have many study Bibles readily available in the English language to help us understand and rightly divide the Word.Others in the world are not as blessed. Most Pentecostals worldwide have no study Bible, much less a Pentecostal study Bible, in a language they can read and understand.
We Have Many. They Have None. The Assemblies of God Bible Alliance, a growing ministry made up of churches and individuals, is dedicated to changing that equation by producing the Fire Bible (known as Life in the Spirit Study Bible in U.S. Christian bookstores) in the major languages of the world.
The Fire Bible — a Pentecostal study Bible complete with commentary, concordance, study notes, articles and maps — is a tremendous blessing for the national preacher overseas who each week must preach the Word to one or more congregations.
Rev. Thomas Trask, former general superintendent of the U.S. Assemblies of God, said, “If I could give a national preacher overseas just one book, it would be the Fire Bible.”
For many pastors overseas, who have few if any biblical resources, the Fire Bible will be a one-book Pentecostal library, or what we call their “one-book survival kit.”
Already the Fire Bible is ministering in 23 languages. But producing the Fire Bible in a major language is an awesome task, and we need help — your help! We need you and your church to join our alliance and help us provide Fire Bibles for national pastors and lay workers overseas.
We have translation projects in progress in many more languages including, Czech, Malagasy, Thai, Turkish and more.
Because the Fire Bible is a “Pentecostal” study Bible, the major Bible societies cannot help us produce it. That’s why we encourage every district, church and individual to join us in this effort.
