Host a Celebrate the Light Service

A Celebrate the Light service is all about celebrating Jesus! And what better way to celebrate Jesus than to help tell others about Him?

Churches all over the United States host Celebrate the Light services or special events each year. During these occasions, they take up cash and faith promise offerings to help Light for the Lost provide evangelism resources for missionaries and missions partners everywhere.

14 Celebrate the Light videos are available for your use. We strongly recommend you choose at least one of these videos to show during your Celebrate the Light service.

We also encourage you to choose a date and venue that will maximize your best potential for attendance and engagement. Some churches choose to host a Celebrate the Light service on National Light for the Lost Day, the last Sunday in January. Other churches choose a Sunday evening or Wednesday evening dinner event.

Contact your local district/network Light for the Lost director, or the national Light for the Lost office (417.370.6280), for help with promotional materials, ideas for a special project, inviting a special speaker, etc. You can find our district/network directory here.
